Poland national team captain Lewandowski recently met at the Warsaw National Stadium with Vchenko, a famous Ukrainian football dormitory, who presented Lewandowski with a Ukrainian flag armband.

Lewandowski wrote on his personal social media: "Thank you, Sheva, nice to meet you! I am honored to wear this armband to participate in the World Cup."

Poland will face the Netherlands and Wales in the next two Nations League games, and the Qatar World Cup group stage. Poland's first-round opponent is Mexico.
